American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career as a supporting role in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the following years, she played the role of reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt. She also played an important role in the short-lived FX series The Ex List. She was Kaylee, a young Moira on the first season FX's American Horror Story. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead and Sophie on the NBC show This Is Us. She is also the voice of various characters in the animated comedy series Family Guy. Since 2019, she has starred in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10, when her mother and her relocated to California [1] where they lived for a year before finally setting up in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to be interested in singing, acting and photography at the age of 13. At the age of 15, she and her mother moved back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
