Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly, is known for his distinct way of rapping. Baker was born April 22, 1990 in Houston Texas U.S. into an ethnically diverse family with English Scottish and German descent. His parents, also missionaries themselves, took him to numerous journeys during his early years. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was unemployed, while Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker relocated to Denver along with his father, and stayed for a few years. Others in the community had a tendency to bully Baker due to his indigence. In sixth grade, Baker began paying attention to hip-hop. Colson Kelly (also known as Machine Gun Kelly) was born on the 22nd of April in 1990, Texas. His compositions are known to fuse modern hip-hop and rock with alternative music. Prior to joining Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes between 2007 and in 2010. The Cleveland rapper, who delivers the lyrics with as much speed as bullets, had a meteoric climb in late 2011 when he shifted between self-releasing mixtapes and signing with reputable labels. Then his career exploded with each of his albums being ranked in the top 10.
